Back in the 1980’s things were a lot different. There were hardly any computers. Obviously no Google, twitter, facebook, linkedin or cell phones. In order for companies to get their message out to potential customers they had to do it the old fashioned way. Our company used to advertise in the newspaper on radio and in the late 1980′ we tried our hand at TV. Our one and only TV ad – called “Andy’s Wife” was filmed in January 1988. This commercial ran in the DC Metro Area market on all the major TV stations (I think there were six then) until late 1989. It was recently found in our archives. Take a look I think you’ll really like it. It’s only 30 seconds and it’s really funny. And, by the way, that is an actress playing my wife as my real wife was 9 months pregnant with our youngest son at the time. Nor was it my older son who refused the part and to this day regrets that decision!
