Contemporaries is a local staffing agency specializing in providing top-notch staffing support services to federal and private sector clients in the D.C. metro area. 
When Contemporaries decided to move their offices they called on us to help them layout, design and furnish their new office space.
Contemporaries was founded in Maryland by Betsy and Fred Donahue on March 18, 1991 initiating the start of staffing services offered to Montgomery County and the DC Metro Area. In 2001, after a decade of establishing itself as a reputable and adaptable supplier of contract employees, Contemporaries received its first Long-Term Support Services Contract from the National Institute of Health. In March of 2004 Erin Allen, daughter of Betsy and Fred, took over as president and continued to maintain the warm atmosphere of a family owned and operated small business. Under Erin’s leadership, Contemporaries secured “women-owned” status through WBENC and MDOT certifications.
Today, Contemporaries continues to adapt to industry standards and supply the private and federal sectors with the staffing solutions they need to successfully accomplish their own mission and goals. Today they offer services including:

For this project we used OFS’s Borders’ II Series of contemporary laminate furniture. This is an extremely flexible product that can be configured to almost any space, is extremely affordable, looks great and met Contemporaries needs perfectly. Working with Erin Allen and her staff we were able to layout & design the space exactly the way they wanted it providing the perfect products and seating for their new offices.
