Friday, July 11, 2014 was a big day in Friendship Heights.  The Fox 5 Morning News Show Good Day DC brought their show to The Shops at Wisconsin Place. As a past Chair of the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Chamber of Commerce  I had the pleasure of being interviewed  by anchors Allison Seymour (a fellow B-CC High School Grad – although she’s MUCH younger than yours truly!) and Steve Chenevey for a segment looking at the past and present of Friendship Heights.

Having grown up in the neighborhood next to Friendship Heights I was able to speak about the old days which included an end of the line trolley stop, the old Woodies department store and the old People drug store.  Today’s Friendship Heights is a vibrant, bustling community and the best example we have in Montgomery County of the B-CC Chamber’s theme of Work. Live. Play.
