The Round House Theatre is a regional theatre committed to using local artists to captivate audiences with stories that inspire compassion, evoke emotions, and demand conversations. This 400-seat theater in Bethesda, Maryland produces a full season of modern classics, new plays, and musicals each year. Andy Sterns Office Furniture had the privilege of helping Round House renovate multiple spaces in the building they moved into 25 years ago.

In the donor lounge and the green room we featured the timeless elegance of Citi Square lounge seating by Global Furniture Group. This popular series features a metal frame design and is available in freestanding, modular configurations, and sectionals. The seating pieces also coordinate with Citi Square tables, which come in a variety of sizes and finishes.

The lobby area was beautifully updated with JSI Oxley Benches. The sleek metal frame pairs with the tufted seat to provide a mid-century modern aesthetic. The refined beauty of these benches lends a touch of simple sophistication to the space.

Their private offices, conference rooms, and events rooms were updated using OFS OS Laminate Series products. These desks, tables, and storage solutions come in a wide variety of finishes and styles, which makes it easy to create office spaces to match any culture.

Finally, we used ERG International Dekko Series for the bar. These bar stools have a sleek, contemporary look using a steel tube frame and a one-piece multi-ply Beech wood seat and back. The chair backs can be simply solid or embellished with geometric cutouts. Dekko also has an option for an upholstered seat insert.

The beauty, flexibility, and quality of these product lines allowed us to work with Round House to accomplish their renovation goals. The results speak for themselves!
