How far in advance do I have to order my furniture?
Furniture lead times depend on whether the furniture you order is in stock or needs to be made to order for you at the factory (“Special Order”). We can deliver instock items as quickly as the next day (single chairs, for example) but most likely within a week and Special Order items in 3-6 weeks, depending on the manufacturer.
Do you assemble, delivery and install the furniture I order?
Yes we do. We have a professional team of experienced installers who receive your furniture in their warehouse, inspect it to make sure it’s in great shape and then assemble, delivery and install the furniture in your office. At the end of the installation they wipe down all the furniture and then remove all trash and vacuum your carpets.
Do you offer layout and design services?
Yes, we do. All of our staff members are trained to use Giza 2020 CAD software which provides state of the art floor plans in both 2D and 3D. Our software is vendor specific so you will see the actual furniture you are ordering in your floor plans. Last year we added the ability to produce color renderings of your design to better help you see how your offices will look before you place your order.
Does the furniture come with a warranty?
Depending on the manufacturer all of the furniture comes with a warranty anywhere from 5 years to the lifetime of the products. On top of the manufacturers warranty Andy Stern’s also provides a one (1) year warranty on all products. This means that if you have a problem with a product we will service that product at no charge during its first year of service. We can provide warranty information on specific items you order.
What are my payment options?
We accept all major credit cards and, with the completion of a credit application, we can invoice you on a Net 10 Days basis. We also accept ACH direct payments.
Do you have a showroom where I can see the furniture?
Several of our manufacturers have showrooms in the DC area. We can meet you at those showrooms to show you lots of different furniture options. Some of our manufacturers also have sample programs – particularly for chairs – that we can have sent to your office to “test sit”.
Will someone come to my office to show me furniture options?
We will gladly visit your office to review our product offerings and even measure your space, if you don’t floor plans in a digital format.
Can I get my furniture delivered and installed outside of normal business hours?
Yes, we can deliver and install furniture outside of normal business hours and on weekends, however, there are additional charges for that service.
Do you deliver to Maryland, DC and Virginia?
Yes we do. In fact, we deliver on our trucks from Richmond, VA to Baltimore, MD. We can also deliver outside of the DC Metro area and have, over the years, installed projects in New York and California.
